Bone Music

During the 1950’s and 60’s the Soviet Union clamped down on any music, fashion and trends coming out of the West that officials deemed decadent or culturally corruptive.

Despite the lockdown, a youth counterculture called ‘stilyagi’ (style hunters) smuggled and shared banned records by making their own out of old x-rays.
