After 70 plus glorious years, MAD magazine has ceased its monthly publication.
For so many, this magazine offered a cultural lexicon of comedy, satire and parody that lit up and help shape the sense of humour of a generation.
Founded by Harvey Kurtzman & William Gaines in 1952, the magazine is part of the bedrock of contemporary American comedy and we now fittingly pay tribute, as we depict its number one mascot and most frequent cover star ‘Alfred E. Neuman’ as a
Huckleberry Finn like wanderer.
After seven decades, MADs main man is without a
home.
The MAD becomes the NOMAD.
Thanks for all the MAD years.
